Out of 24 Schools of Hope across Nairobi’s Mathare cluster, Mashimoni SOH showed up and stood out—fielding a formidable squad of 4 incisive juniors and 4 eloquent seniors.
While our articulate juniors battled their way to the quarterfinals, our senior team commanded the floor all the way to the Finals and were crowned Best Debating Team 2026.
But it doesn’t stop there.
Among over 2000 brilliant young minds across the 24 schools, all four Mashimoni seniors ranked in the Top 5 orators of the cluster:
Sharlyn Stacy (Grade 10) clinched the title of Outstanding Debater with her razor-sharp rebuttals.
Phiona (Grade 10) took 2nd Best Speaker with poise and precision. Allan (Form 3) secured 4th with commanding rhetoric.
